Janet's ministry, Good News for the Nations, was developed in the furnace of affliction (Isaiah 48:10),coming forth out of the ashes of her life. God took a broken vessel,and with His mighty hand brought healing and restoration. She was filled with greatlove for Him and He gave her His heart for the nations of the world. Janet MacArthur met Jesus and was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1970. From the beginning, her heart's desire was to reach out to others. Through neighborhood, door-to-door evangelism, she led many to the Lord.

As a new Christian, Janet led interdenominational Bible Studies for many years. She began a chapter of Women's Aglow International in her hometown. Through this ministry, she brought many more to salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

In 1980,prophetic words were spoken to Janet, that she would preach the gospel in many nations. With circumstances changing in 1987, she received training for mission work at Gwen Shaw's International School of Ministry-Jasper Arkansas, Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training School, and Calvary International, Jacksonville FL, and Shalom Bible College & Seminary in Des Moines IA. She began full-time mission work in 1991. In 1992 she was ordained into ministry through Shalom Bible College and later through her home church, White Horse Christian Center.

Janet has seen the prophetic words come to pass as doors of opportunities have opened for her to minister in Italy, Egypt, Nigeria, Jamaica, Nicaragua, China, Russia, Mexico, Canada, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ghana, India, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and the First Nations People of North America.

Dr. Janet MacArthur served as Principal of Fire of Life Bible College in Nigeria for one year. She holds a Master's degree in Ministry and a Doctor's degree in Theology from Shalom Bible College in Des Moines, Iowa.

Janet Is President of Good News for the Nations, an International ministry under Full Gospel Ministers and Churches International.

Janet was Director of Missions at White Horse Christian Center in West Lafayette, Indiana for 8 years and has taught at White Horse School of Ministries. An average of 50 mission teams a year went out from White Horse during that time.

Janet has a passionate love for the Lord and commitment to training others for the ministry so that the Great Commission can be accomplished in this generation. She participated in renewal meetings in 1994. The mighty revival meetings in Toronto starting in 1993, influenced her anointing and ministry.Since then she has brought revival messages to churches and the ministry of healing, refreshing and deliverance so that the body of Christ is more prepared to bring in the harvest and disciple new believers.

Janet has been a conference speaker in Russia, Philippines, Canada, Nigeria, Ghana, Mexico and Kenya.

She also speaks in churches in the USA and brings missions into the emphasis it is to have in the church. It brings people new revelation, inspiration and knowledge to believe they can help impact the nations and also to know what part God wants them to take in the Great Commission. She has done mission training from 1 day to 1 week. She also helps put mission trips together for that group to go to a nation if they desire.

She has written a mission course that can be taken for college credits, also a mission manual on how to plan and take teams to the nations. It has developed out of taking teams to 25 nations with great results.

Janet says, God has taken me off the full-time mission field in 1995 to raise up missionaries who love God enough to sacrifice by going to the nations both short term and long term. He has commissioned me to be a part of the Great Commission by multiplying myself as a missionary who has covenanted with God to be used to my fullest potential, to go anywhere He sends, speak what He tells me to speak, to eat what is set before me and to not complain whether in abundance or lack.
